Giant Eagle Apples for the Students

Simply register your Giant Eagle Advantage Card with Apples for the Students and use it each time you shop at Giant Eagle to earn points for your school. Earning points is simple — with every scan of your registered Giant Eagle Advantage Card at the cash register, points are automatically credited to Westwood PTO.

To register:

  • Sign in to gianteagle.com or create an account.
  • Register your Giant Eagle Advantage Card® online.
  • Click on the “My Account” tab.  Scroll down to the “Apples for the Students” section.  Click “Manage Schools” and enter Westwood’s school code: 2999.

Heinen’s Teaming Up for Education

As a member of the Heinen’s Tasteful Rewards™ Program, when you shop at Heinen’s you can help our school.  Heinen’s will donate up to 1% of what you spend from September to April to Westwood PTO.

Members are required to re-select the school every year.  

To register:

  • Simply log into your Tasteful Rewards account with your registered email address and password.  Select “My School” from the left-hand menu and select Westwood.  (Use “Novelty” as the city name to search on.)
  • OR Select Westwood at any Heinen’s Store Location – Customer Service Booth.
  • OR Call the Heinen’s Customer Relations department at 1-855-475-2300 ext. 2337.

Amazon Smile

When you shop at smile.amazon.com, you’ll find the exact same low prices, vast selection and convenient shopping experience as Amazon.com, with the added bonus that Amazon will donate 0.5% of the purchase price on eligible purchases to Westwood PTO.

To shop at AmazonSmile simply go to smile.amazon.com from the web browser on your computer or mobile device (not your amazon.com app).  On your first visit, search for and select Westwood Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization as your charitable organization. Amazon will remember your selection, and then every eligible purchase you make at smile.amazon.com will result in a donation.

To use smile.amazon.com on your mobile device, go to web browser, type in smile.amazon.com, tap on the share button Screen Shot 2017-08-01 at 11.28.52 AM and choose Add to Home Screen Screen Shot 2017-08-01 at 11.31.12 AM.

Box Tops Bonus App

In addition to clipping Box Tops from General Mills products for our contests throughout the year, the Box Tops Bonus App layers on additional earnings.

To start earning:

  • Download the App on your Apple or Android device.
  • Set up Westwood Elementary School as your school.
  • Browse and select offers within the App, then purchase those participating products at any store.
  • Upload your receipt using the App.
  • Box Tops will confirm the purchase via e-mail and credit Westwood PTO’s account for any offers you selected and qualified for.
